In 2018, Tim Hsu and Paul Fan founded CYBAVO, leading blockchains ecurity firm in Taiwan. This year, CYBAVO was successfully acquired by Circle, issuer of the USDC stablecoin.
In this session, Tim will share his experience and stories to walk the audience through what he's learned about the cybersecurity industry over the years.
The presentation will cover a wide ranges of topics, including: brief introduction to blockchain, trend analysis of the blockchain security industry, tips to entrenpreneurship in the blockchain industry, how to cooperate with experts across the globe, and an overview of the competitive package available for blockchain security talents.

Tim is a Cybersecurity veteran with 20 years in the industry. With an MS in Information Management from NTUST, Tim also holds the prominent CEH, CHFI & ISO27001LA certifications. He is the founder of two of Taiwan’s biggest Cybersecurity conferences, HITCON and CHROOT. Tim has served as a cybersecurity researcher and consultant at some of Taiwan’s leading SIs, telecoms, and cybersecurity firms. He has acted as consultant to a large number of cryptocurrency exchanges. Helping them respond to cyber breaches - doing forensic analysis and developing robust mitigation strategies, many of which contributed to the fundamental principles embedded in CYBAVO’s solutions.
