ASM (Attack Surface Management) for enterprise security is a major leap in recent years from the use of domain names and IP addresses by large enterprises around the world to an enhanced management model and a higher level of information security. Large enterprises and organizations around the world are actively enhancing their ASM programs to keep pace with attackers who are using the same methods to find forgotten and vulnerable digital assets owned by their organizations. The information security industry also does not fully understand the DNS/IP management system and cannot fully grasp ASM. This ASM keynote will disclose how well-known brands in Taiwan handle ASM, using the examples of world-renowned financial institutions and Internet service providers; the entire management cycle of ASM will be explored, including asset discovery, asset attribution and validation (including domain ownership and IP geolocation information), remediation priorities, and continuous monitoring.
