Dramatic rise in fraud and scam complaints
Scams that use email, phone calls, faked sites and other virtual strategies have been rising in the past few years as people move toward e-commerce, and fraud on the rise as scammers adapt to technology during COVID pandemic.
At this session, we will talk about:
1. How Is Digital Fraud Becoming More Sophisticated As Technology Advances?
2. How to spot a scam with new information technology.

Specializing in new technology, cybersecurity, fraud prevention, propaganda, and disinformation issues. I have previously worked at Microsoft, Samsung , KKBOX, Trend Micro, and contributed columns to Global Views, and I am a frequent interviewee for domestic and international news media.
I represented Trend Micro at Cybersec 2022 and was selected as the most popular speaker of the year. I have also spoken at events such as Microsoft's Techday, Hitcon, and GASA forum. I was nominated by the US State Department to speak at the DCN Global forum.
In recent years, I have been dedicated to fraud prevention, cybersecurity, and child online safety, and have established non-profit civic organizations such as the "RevealBar" and the "Taiwan Digital Trust Association." Currently, I am serving at Gogolook, promoting Whoscall and Auntie Mei in Asia and continuously striving for fraud and misinformation prevention efforts.
