About CYBERSEC

Organized by iThome, CYBERSEC, is the largest annual cybersecurity event in Taiwan. Since 2015, we have been gradually becoming the dominant platform for international exchange on cybersecurity. With the participation of 300 cybersecurity companies and 250 knowledgeable speeches, CYBERSEC has more than 10,000 registered attendees every year. Furthermore, President Tsai-Ing Wen and the AIT Director Sandra Oudkirk along with chief executives involved in cybersecurity all shared a stage. In a word, CYBSESEC has become the high-profile cybersecurity annual conference in Asia.
CYBERSEC welcome people from all over the world and gather the collective wisdom to change the current status and fully upgrade the cybersecurity. We sincerely invite the cybersecurity gurus of every field to share their new findings and join us. Let's build up the safer and more secure future.

Call for Speakers

CYBERSEC invites the cybersecurity specialists from various fields to the event to discuss the important cybersecurity issues. Welcome cybersecurity specialists could share their perspectives on turning the current circumstances and overturning the asymmetry situation between the attacks and defenses, and then assist the cyber defense return to the discussion on cybersecurity issue. From the exchanges and experience sharing, we hope to find out the best practice and create the matureer and more resilient environment.

We welcome various issues of cybersecurity. You are free to share the latest technique findings in your field in CYBERSEC.

I. Call for
Keynote Session

  • Scheduled time: Morning sessions on May 9 and 10
  • Estimated length: 30 minutes
  • Eligibility: Each year sees an ever strengthening connection between CYBERSEC and the rest of the world. As national borders steadily re-open, CYBERSEC continues to create more opportunities for participants to stay tuned to the pulse of international trends. Information security experts from around the world are warmly invited to submit their entries to become speakers and share their insights into information security.

II. Call for
Breakout Session

  • Scheduled time: Afternoon sessions on May 9 and 10.
    Morning and afternoon sessions on May 11.
  • Estimated length: 30 minutes
  • Eligibility: Both domestic and international speakers are welcome to share practical experiences in the field, such as the latest research on information security, newest cyberattack techniques and defensive strategies, corporate information security management and protection, and more. Priority will be given to topics that have not previously been publicly presented.
Submit Subjects

We welcome various issues of cybersecurity.

To provide a wide variety of subjects on cybersecurity, CYBERSEC is open to submissions from experts across all technical fields. If you currently do not have a specific direction in mind, you may refer to the following subjects for potential ideas. However, the event programming WILL NOT be limited to the list below. These subjects are merely to help speakers discover and refine their focus, and do not represent the finalized event theme and structure.

Speaker Benefits
  • Speakers from Taiwan: Submission should be accepted and the speaker is residing in Taiwan. The event will subsidize the transportation expense of NT$6,000 (tax included).
  • Speakers from overseas: Submission should be accepted and the speakers who do not live in Taiwan. The event will subsidize the transportation expense of USD$1,000 (tax included).
  • If your submission was approved, the speaker room will be made available for you. Water, Wi-Fi and power sockets will be provided to you there.
