ABOUT CYBERSEC

CYBERSEC, organized by iThome, has become a leading event in Asia's cybersecurity landscape, acting as a major conference and networking platform. Last year’s event attracted over 20,000 registrants, featured more than 300 sessions across three days, and showcased over 400 top cybersecurity brands from across the globe.

CYBERSEC 2025 will take place from April 15 to 17, bringing together the cybersecurity community to raise corporate awareness, enhance defensive strategies, and foster growth and innovation in the industry. We invite experts from all sectors to submit speeches and contribute to shaping a more secure digital future.

To continue enhancing a diverse and comprehensive platform for cybersecurity exchange, we invite professionals from all sectors to come together and discuss critical cybersecurity topics. We will investigate the current threats we face and share insights to uncover best practices. Submit your speech now! Submit Scope

Breakout Session
 

  • Scheduled Time: Afternoon sessions on Apr 15 and 16. Morning and afternoon sessions on Apr 17.
  • Session Length: 30 minutes
  • Eligibility Criteria: Researchers, Professionals, Advocates, Practitioners of Cybersecurity from all over the world.
  • Content: Cybersecurity Research, Latest Attack Techniques and Defense Strategies, Practical Experiences in Enterprise Management and Protection, Previously Unpublished Content
  • Travel Subsidy:
    Speakers residing in Taiwan (including foreigner residing in Taiwan). The event will subsidize the travel expense of NT$6,000 (tax included).
    Speakers residing abroad (including Taiwanese residing abroad). The event will subsidize the travel expense of US$1,000 (tax included).

Deep Dive Session
 

  • Scheduled Time: Afternoon sessions on Apr 15 and 16. Morning and afternoon sessions on Apr 17.
  • Session Length: 45 minutes
  • Eligibility Criteria: Researchers, Professionals, Advocates, and Practitioners of cybersecurity from around the world.
  • Content: Focus on specific cybersecurity topics and guide the audience in a deep exploration. While themes are not restricted, speech must be focused and in-depth. In addition to a session overview, please include a breakdown of the time allocation for each part of your speech.
  • Travel Subsidy:
    Speakers residing in Taiwan (including foreigner residing in Taiwan). The event will subsidize the travel expense of NT$9,000 (tax included).
    Speakers residing abroad (including Taiwanese residing abroad). The event will subsidize the travel expense of US$1,000 (tax included).

CYBERSEC GLOBAL
 

  • Brief Introduction: To build a more comprehensive international cybersecurity information exchange platform, CYBERSEC GLOBAL gathers cybersecurity experts from around the world. Speech videos will be broadcast to international audiences through the official CYBERSEC live streaming channel. This initiative not only transcends geographical boundaries in knowledge dissemination but also provides an opportunity for your research achievements to gain international exposure and share insights with global cybersecurity practitioners.
  • Language: English

Attendees of CYBERSEC primarily include IT professionals, security experts, IT managers, cybersecurity practitioners, and professionals from the corporate, industrial, government, and academic sectors.

1. Submission and Speech Requirements

  • Please elaborate on the content of your submission form.
  • Make sure audiences recognize the need and value of your speech.
  • Please provide your slides at least one week before the event.
  • The event allows two speakers in a session, and both speakers must present on the stage in person. If the research content has been completed with other authors who will not be presenting on stage, you can list their names and job titles within the submission form. The event website will include these co-authors' information. However, co-authors who are not actual speakers will not be eligible for travel subsidies.
  • If you hold positions in both academic institutions and industry companies simultaneously, please make sure to inform us within the submission form.

2. Speech Content Requirements

  • Originality is a high priority. Audiences would like to know more about your personal experiences, practices, and opinions.
  • You must possess all legal rights for your speech content, ensuring it does not infringe on the intellectual property and privacy rights of others.
  • Sales pitch will NOT BE ALLOWED during your speech. If you would like to be a speaker in a sponsored session, please let us know and we will contact you right away.

3. Speaker Exclusive Services

  • During the conference, the organizer will provide a speaker lounge equipped with daily lunch, refreshments, wireless internet, and power outlets.
  • Speakers will receive pre-event notifications with important details.
  • Each speaker will receive a conference souvenir.

4. The rights reserved by the organizer

  • The organizer can modify the agenda and schedule as needed.
  • The organizer may use your provided personal photo, biography, and session description for event promotion.
