Jason Lish

Cisco / Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer

Jason Lish is Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer at Cisco where he provides leadership, strategic direction, and oversight for Cisco’s Security Operations functions, including enterprise information security, comprising infrastructure architecture, platform security, data protection, and attack surface management, IT security, incident detection and response, value chain and mergers and acquisitions security. Before joining Cisco, Jason served as Chief Security Officer at Lumen Technologies, leading and providing oversight for all corporate security functions, including physical security, U.S. federal government programs, fraud management, and corporate cybersecurity. He led global security initiatives supporting Lumen’s corporate security architecture and threat management, development and preventative security standards and procedures, and government policy and regulatory standards for national critical infrastructure. Prior to Lumen Technologies, Jason was the Chief Security, Privacy, and Data Officer at Advisor Group, the nation’s second largest independent broker-dealer. Previously, he served as Chief Information Officer and Chief Security Officer at Alight Solutions and senior security leadership positions at Charles Schwab and Honeywell International. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force as a Systems and Intelligence Analyst for almost 7 years. Jason serves as a board advisor to several security companies, private equity, and venture capital firms. He volunteers on many talent pipeline organizations, such as Year Up and Workforce Opportunity Services. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and Information Technology from Bellevue University and Master of Business Administration in Business from Ottawa University.
