Currently serving in the InfoSec department of a U.S.-based firm, Hao-Wei also holds an advisory role for the public sector and manages several non-profit organizations across Taiwan and the United States. He founded the cybersecurity technical site Hacker.org.tw (CRETIX Security, 2003 - 2011) and is the Organizer of the 3rd Red Team Summit in the U.S., and a Founding Board Member of the Association of Hackers in Taiwan (HIT).
