UTM is a basic security defense system that includes three main functions: website filtering, anti-virus, and intrusion detection and prevention. It helps enterprises achieve basic security protection and prevent threats from easily infiltrating important hosts and databases. Website filtering blocks access to suspicious websites and files by filtering blacklists; the anti-virus function identifies and alerts users to threat files on their computers so they can remove them; and the intrusion detection and prevention function creates special rules for inbound and outbound traffic, blocking any traffic that triggers those rules.
