National Sun Yat-sen University has developed a Privacy Preserving Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (PPFHIR) system, which is a fast and secure healthcare data exchange resource with privacy protection. PPFHIR combines searchable attribute encryption, homomorphic encryption mechanisms, and RESTful APIs, with healthcare data as its core, to provide five major functions including data collection, searching, warehousing, data mining, and application, all of which can be quickly accessed and applied. With the integration of data security technology, PPFHIR ensures patient privacy for all its operations and provides a dedicated environment with privacy protection for digital healthcare, laying a solid foundation for future intelligent and precision healthcare.
