The rise of artificial intelligence and 5G among other waves of technology is driving global industrial restructuring, resulting in opportunities, risks, and challenges. Cyberattacks and modes of threats are constantly evolving, spanning both the virtual and physical realms and presenting unprecedented changes and challenges. In addition to increasing cooperation between the public and private sectors and sharing threat intelligence, it is also necessary to continuously improve response capabilities and management mechanisms to build cybersecurity resilience to ensure both corporate and national safety. There is urgency to collectively create a cybersecurity defense system to safeguard national cybersecurity and respond to the ever-changing and complex cybersecurity risks.
In its 7th year, the 2024 Cyber Taiwan Pavilion gathers Taiwan’s major cybersecurity brands to showcase domestically developed products, services, and solutions. The offerings enhance industrial resilience through cross-domain integration, displaying the diversity and broad technological applications of Taiwan’s cybersecurity brands. As a platform for cybersecurity exchange, Cyber Taiwan Pavilion continues to foster domestic industry exchanges and expand international business opportunities, creating a global cybersecurity industry chain and shaping an internationally trusted cybersecurity brand image.
To implement the national policy of “Six Core Strategic Industries with Cybersecurity as the Backbone,” the Administration for Digital Industries under the Ministry of Digital Affairs (moda) actively promotes independent cybersecurity research and development in Taiwan. Through CYBERSEC, Asia-Pacific's most significant cybersecurity exhibition, the Cyber Taiwan Pavilion gathers Taiwan cybersecurity companies with independent R&D capability and technologies and participates in the promotion programs to demonstrate Taiwan’s cybersecurity strength to the global community. It is not only a showcase but also an interactive experience. Visitors can immerse themselves in different cybersecurity situations, such as civilian-military communications, smart manufacturing, and smart healthcare, gaining a deeper understanding of the application of cybersecurity technologies.
