Freddy Ma currently works as a Threat Intelligence Researcher at Panasonic Cyber Security Lab, specializing in IoT cyber security and malware software analysis. With four years of experience in the cybersecurity industry, he has extensive expertise in threat intelligence and malware analysis. In 2019, Freddy served as a cybersecurity engineer at Gorilla Technology, where he designed and developed honeypots, sandboxes, and threat intelligence analysis systems to track and analyze malware associated with Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs). He has also been involved in cybersecurity incident response for government agencies. Since joining Panasonic in 2022, Freddy has focused on IoT security research, particularly in IoT malware analysis. He monitors, analyzes, and evaluates security vulnerabilities and malware in IoT devices.
