Lydia’s career in network and cybersecurity is distinguished by her entrepreneurial spirit and exemplary leadership. She has demonstrated thought leadership by introducing behavior-based threat detection using machine learning, which transformed the traditional firewall into an intelligent firewall during her seven years as a Senior Vice President at a public firewall company. Additionally, she has a proven track record of turning product concepts into successful businesses, drawing from her extensive 11 years of experience in product management at Cisco Systems. Lydia’s product vision and business acumen have earned her numerous accolades, including a Stevie Businesswoman Award, recognition as a CRN Woman of the Channel, and the Global Infosec Awards as a pioneering woman in cybersecurity.
Lydia holds dual master’s degrees in Communications Management and Computer Science from the USC Annenberg and Viterbi Schools, respectively, as well as a bachelor’s degree from Tsinghua University.
