Sue is an accomplished Product and Program Operations Executive with over 25 years of experience in the security networking and cloud SaaS industry. She has held pivotal roles in several leading organizations, driving transformative initiatives on a global scale. With a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams across diverse functions—including product management, engineering, and go-to-market—Sue has consistently delivered impactful business results.

Throughout her career, Sue has spearheaded notable achievements, including pioneering company-wide business and process transformations, achieving significant cost optimizations, and managing global teams of operations and program management professionals. Notably, she played a crucial role in generating a staggering $280M in ARR within the first year of a software business transformation and delivering annual savings of over $9 million through strategic initiatives. Sue excels in driving successful product launches and cross-sell/upsell growth initiatives, maintaining exceptional stakeholder communication skills.

Prior to joining Cisco, Sue served as Vice President of Product Operations at a major cybersecurity software company, leading the Product & Program Operations team in supporting more than 1,000 engineers, product managers, architects, and designers within the XDR Business Unit. In this role, Sue optimized key business processes for agile, quality-driven product launches and spearheaded cross-team initiatives, delivering transformative strategic outcomes. Previously, she played a pivotal role in scaling another organization from its startup phase to full-scale product development operations, achieving remarkable results in process optimization and tooling enhancements.

Sue’s career journey also includes a remarkable 15-year tenure at a leading network technology enterprise, where she embarked on a path of continuous growth and evolution. Beginning in a support engineering role, Sue transitioned to various pivotal positions, including business operations, public certification program management, and merger & acquisition integration. She holds a master’s in communication from the University of Illinois and maintains professional certifications in Project Management (PMP, CSM) and Information System Security (CISSP).
