Cyber Defense Exercise Platform (CDX) is to provide an environment for exercise of information security courses offered in coordination with the government's promotion of information security talent cultivation.
Hacker College combines both theoretical concepts and practical experiments in academic research and industrial approach. Hacker College especially focuses on technical practice by providing every student a dedicated training environment to encourage and improve the abilities and skills. The curriculum design puts emphasize on cyber security knowledge, including incident managing and decision making, offensive and defensive techniques, and analyzing and operating methodologies. On the top of that, Hacker College keeps an eye on the development trending at home and abroad. We invite specialists and researchers to give lectures to provide domestic cyber security experts the latest knowledge and practical experience timely.
III has taken part in planning and promoting public policies related to information industry. It has contributed to the pioneer research and development in information and communication technology, the deepening and broadening of information applications, the training and education of talents in this field and the participation in building infrastructure for national information technology.
The Cybersecurity Technology Institute (CSTI) was established in January 2012 by unifying III’s existing efforts in cyber security. It is aimed at providing technology solutions and services for its clients in confronting with emerging security challenges in cyberspace.
National Center for High-performance Computing (NCHC), founded in 1991, is Taiwan's only national-level supercomputing center. The NCHC possesses a large computing and networking platform facilities for use by domestic academia and the general public. The NCHC plays a leading role in Taiwan's cloud technology services by integrating high performance computing (HPC), storage, and networking to provide cloud services in storage, big data analysis, and scientific and engineering simulation.
The goal of the NCHC is to become an internationally renowned HPC center that promotes scientific discovery and technological innovation. Since its inception, the NCHC has been dedicated to strengthening Taiwan's HPC and networking infrastructure. The NCHC has planned and implemented pilot research programs in HPC, cloud computing, as well as big data processing methods and applications. The NCHC provides professional technologies and platform services to academia, government, and industry, and helps to cultivate domestic talent in HPC-related fields.
In order to effectively support Taiwan's technology research, the NCHC constructed technology R&D platforms to support domestic and foreign R&D teams in developing HPC and big data applications, which cover engineering and science, environmental and disaster prevention, biomedicine, and digital cultural content creation. The NCHC hopes to achieve the goal of becoming an HPC center of international caliber and a base for HPC applications and R&D collaborations within the Pacific Rim region.
1.Support the government to extensively implement NII applications and services that are on a par with the developed countries.
2.Assist the private sector to provide NII services and applications to the public, especially those related to their daily life.
3.Strengthen links between the government and the private sector in terms of science and technology visions and policies.
4.Collaborate with the government to build a well-rounded environment for the development of the NII industry.
The Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) is a 501(c)(3) worldwide not-for-profit charitable organization focused on improving the security of software. Our mission is to make software security visible, so that individuals and organizations are able to make informed decisions. OWASP is in a unique position to provide impartial, practical information about AppSec to individuals, corporations, universities, government agencies and other organizations worldwide. Operating as a community of like-minded professionals, OWASP issues software tools and knowledge-based documentation on application security.

Taiwan Academic Network Computer Emergency Response Team (TACERT) has established by Ministry of Education in June, 2010. The main purposes of TACERT are to prevent and actively assist the computer networks security incidents in organizations in Taiwan Academic Network (TANet), to analyze the system vulnerabilities, to provide computer and network security information and related documents for system administrators, and conduct a series of training programs to raise the awareness of information security.
Taiwan Association of Information and Communication Standards (TAICS) is an industry organization founded in June 2015 with the members from industry, research and academia organizations in Taiwan. 8 technical committees (TC) have been chartered with the focus on Advanced Mobile Communication, Network Communication, Device Internetworking, Audiovisual Services and Communications, Network and Information Security, Testing and Certification, Intelligent Green Buildings ICT and Internet of Vehicles (IoV) & Automated Driving. TAICS develops ICT standards and bridges industry with global standard initiatives/organizations. TAICS is open for the registration by all the companies/organizations with division in Taiwan.
Taichung Computer Association (TCCA) established in August 4th 1983, it is organized from Computer Technology companies in Taichung. Nowadays, our members have reached more than 800. We promoted computer applications to develop Economic. Coordinating the relationship between fellow manufacturers. The Honeynet Project is a leading international 501c3 non-profit security research organization, dedicated to investigating the latest attacks and developing open source security tools to improve Internet security. With Chapters around the world, our volunteers have contributed to fight against malware (such as Confickr), discovering new attacks and creating security tools used by businesses and government agencies all over the world. The organization continues to be on the cutting edge of security research by working to analyze the latest attacks and educating the public about threats to information systems across the world.
Founded in 1999, The Honeynet Project has contributed to fight against malware and malicious hacking attacks and has the leading security professional among members and alumni.
